Custom Hand Crafted Woodworks

At MB Young Industries/MB Young Woodworks, we don’t just build with wood—we help craft your stories.

About Our Company

MB Young Industries, doing business as MB Young Woodworks, is an American micro-factory producing handcrafted wood products with precision, consistency, and care. We bring together traditional woodworking, modern laser technology, and a practical production mindset to create high-quality pieces for homes, businesses, gifts, and promotional use.

Our work starts with thoughtful material selection. Each board is chosen for its grain, figure, color, and natural character, then shaped, engraved, finished, and inspected by hand. Whether it is a custom sign, a keepsake, a branded product, or a one-of-a-kind commission, every piece is made with attention to detail and respect for the material.

Our Services

Custom Wood Trim and Architectural Elements

We reproduce and mill custom trim, period molding, and architectural elements for restoration work, renovations, and custom interiors. With a wide range of profiles available, we can help match existing woodwork or create new details with a classic, finished look.

Custom Hand Carving

Our custom signs are hand-carved and hand-painted, not mass-produced. Whether for a home, business, farm, or special project, each piece is designed to fit its setting and finished to bring out the natural character of the wood.

Custom Cutting Boards

We craft cutting boards from high-quality, food-safe hardwoods selected for durability, grain, and appearance. Custom laser-etched designs can be added to create a personalized board that works beautifully in the kitchen and looks good enough to display.

Custom Woodworking

From carved signs and milled trim to one-of-a-kind commissions, our custom woodworking is built around the material, the space, and the purpose of the piece. We combine careful planning, hands-on craftsmanship, and a respect for real wood to create work that is functional, distinctive, and made to last.

Start to Finish

Every custom project starts with a conversation. We take time to understand what you need, refine the details, and build a finished piece that fits its purpose, its setting, and your expectations.

Client Testimonials

"Mike helped renovate our historic building in Sapulpa, Oklahoma from top to bottom. From custom trim, concrete, and tuckpointing to custom awnings, hand carvings, architectural reproductions and signs. His work touched nearly every part of the project. He was instrumental in renewing the spirit of the building and helping carry the vision across the finish line. We could not have done it without him."
"The sign Mike created for Family Table Market is amazing. It has the perfect handmade feel, and the attention to detail gives it real character. It feels like a piece that truly belongs with the heart of our business. From design to finish, the care, skill, and craftsmanship were obvious every step of the way."
“When I need a custom piece made for a wedding, Mike is the first person I turn to. From wedding arches to tree built of wood that I displayed in Philbrook, Mike helps me execute my vision to perfection.”

About Mike,

The Artisan

Mike has been a woodworker and artist for over 35 years, developing a style shaped by craftsmanship, fine art, and disciplined execution. Before founding MB Young Woodworks, he worked as a contractor and later served 29 years in the United States Marine Corps. That combination of creative vision, practical building experience, and Marine Corps discipline shapes the way he approaches every project: with precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing the work right.

Now based in his hometown of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Mike brings that experience into custom woodworking, hand-carved and hand-painted signage, laser-etched designs, custom milled trim, architectural details, and one-of-a-kind commissions. His work combines practical building knowledge with an artist’s eye for form, proportion, and character, along with a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of wood.

Whether a project starts with a detailed plan or only a rough idea, Mike works with each customer to refine the design, choose the right approach, and build a finished piece that is useful, distinctive, and made to last.
